When a name or date needs to be added to an existing memorial, our craftsmen come to you — bringing the equipment and care of our shop directly to the gravesite. No removal, no disruption, no stress.
From the moment we arrive at the cemetery to the final inscription — every step is handled by our own craftsmen, with the same care we bring to monuments in our shop.
We start at the existing memorial — a stone already in place with space reserved for the inscription. Our craftsmen arrive at the cemetery with everything needed to work right at the gravesite.
A rubber stencil is precisely cut and applied to the stone, sealing in every detail of the new lettering. This protects the surrounding granite and ensures crisp, clean engraving.
The inscription is sandblasted directly into the stone — the same technique we use in our shop. The result is indistinguishable from the original work, so the new addition feels like it has always belonged.
Adding a name to an existing memorial deserves care — and we're glad to help with every detail. Give us a call with any questions, and we'll walk you through what comes next.
