A Warranty That Lasts as Long as We Do

Every stone carries its history with it. When granite is cut from a quarry, tiny invisible seams come along with it. Stone masons call them microfissures. Most of them never matter, but over years of sun, freezing nights, and weather, some can open into cracks you can see. That’s the nature of real stone.

By the time a granite block reaches our Chino factory, its history is already written into it. We can’t see microfissures with our eyes, and no one in this business can. What we can do is choose good stone, work it carefully, and stand behind it when something hidden eventually shows itself.

So here’s what we can and can’t promise. We don’t ship stones with visible flaws, and we don’t try to hide them either. Every memorial that leaves our factory does so in the best condition we can deliver. What we can’t promise is that nature won’t reveal a hidden flaw a decade or two from now. That’s just the nature of stone.

Over the past sixty years we’ve replaced hundreds of memorials for families. Most were good stones that revealed a quarry defect years after they were set. We’ve never argued about a manufacturing failure. If it’s our work that failed, we fix it. That’s what our warranty actually is: not a promise that nothing will go wrong, but a promise that if something does, we’re still here, and we’ll make it right.
