What’s Allowed at Pomona Valley
Pomona Valley Memorial Park permits flat granite markers only; upright monuments and slants are no longer available. As of March 2021, the cemetery no longer accepts markers with a cement border. There are no special engraving requirements here; Pomona Valley has served families of all faiths since 1876.

In-stock flat markers are ready in 2–4 weeks. Special orders may take longer; we’ll let you know up front. Once delivered to Pomona Valley, the cemetery’s own crew sets the marker as part of their regular grounds schedule.
What are the setting fees at Pomona Valley Memorial Park?
Pomona Valley charges a setting fee paid directly to the cemetery before they accept the marker. All flat markers, regardless of size: $450. This fee is separate from the cost of the memorial and includes endowment care, which funds the long-term maintenance of the grounds.
Do you handle the approval process with Pomona Valley?
Yes. Everything goes through our office. You approve the design proof, we take it from there: paperwork, section verification, delivery coordination. No separate calls to Pomona Valley on your end.
Can I add an inscription to an existing memorial at Pomona Valley?
Yes. We add inscriptions to existing memorials on site at Pomona Valley Memorial Park. We bring our portable engraving equipment right to the gravesite, so there’s no need to disturb the memorial or coordinate a removal.
