A few of the granite markers we’ve placed at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Evergreen Memorial Park requires flat granite markers set level with the ground. All granite must be a single piece, 3 to 6 inches thick. Cement borders are available but not required for granite markers.
The smallest flat marker for infant burials. Set without a cement border.
A standard single marker with room for a name, dates, and a line of inscription.
A larger single marker with room for artwork, a portrait, or a detailed inscription alongside the name and dates.
A side by side marker for two people on adjacent plots. Both names, dates, and shared artwork fit on one stone.
Evergreen allows our full palette of 18 granite colors for standard markers.
Allowed marker types and sizes vary by section. Not sure what your section permits? Give us a call and we’ll look it up for you.
What we handle: Design, engraving, and delivery. We coordinate with Evergreen’s office and handle the paperwork so your marker is ready to set when it arrives.
Who sets the marker: Evergreen’s grounds crew sets all flat markers. Once the memorial arrives at the park, their team places it level with the ground.
Most flat markers are ready in 2–4 weeks when the granite size and color are in stock. Special orders may take longer; we’ll let you know up front. Once delivered to Evergreen, the cemetery typically sets the marker within a few business days.
Evergreen charges a setting fee of $375 for all flat markers, paid directly to the cemetery. Cement borders are available for $220 but are not required for granite markers. These fees are separate from the cost of the memorial.
Yes. Everything goes through our office. You approve the design proof, we take it from there: paperwork, delivery coordination. No separate calls to Evergreen on your end.
Yes. We add inscriptions to existing memorials on site at Evergreen Memorial Park. We bring our portable engraving equipment right to the gravesite, so there’s no need to disturb the memorial or coordinate a removal. Adding a second name, a death date, or a short inscription typically takes a couple of hours on site.
