Cemetery Regulations

What’s Allowed at Hermosa Gardens

Hermosa Gardens Cemetery permits flat granite markers and slant markers in most sections, and upright monuments with Cemetery Manager approval. Every marker must be solid granite with a sanded or beveled edge: 1 inch on the smallest size, 2 inches on the 24″×12″ and 28″×16″ sizes. Hermosa Gardens also requires the plot location to be engraved in the lower-right corner of every marker.

Cremation Marker 20″ × 10″

The smallest flat marker permitted at Hermosa Gardens, with a 1-inch sanded or beveled edge. Used for cremation plots and infant markers.

Single Marker 24″ × 12″

A smaller adult marker option, with a 2-inch sanded or beveled edge.

Single Marker 28″ × 16″

The larger of Hermosa Gardens’ two flat adult sizes, also with a 2-inch sanded or beveled edge.

Slant Marker 24″ × 16″ × 10″

Hermosa Gardens’ standard slant size, used for single and companion plots depending on base width. The base can’t exceed 36 inches wide; we’ll confirm the exact fit with the cemetery office before your order is finalized.

Slant Marker 30″ × 16″ × 10″

A wider slant option available at Hermosa Gardens for a single plot. Ask us about fit and availability for your section.

Slant Marker 36″ × 16″ × 10″
