An inscription can tie the artwork and message of a headstone together. On Nancy’s memorial, the words “May the flowers bloom forever in your memory” connect directly with the tulips on both sides. The flowers frame her portrait, while the message below gives them a place in the tribute. This is one way families can choose words and artwork that support the same idea.
