Corinne designed the granite inlay for this monument. Granite inlays are very special; they aren’t paint that will fade, and they are not glued-on pieces of stone. Granite inlays are just that: pieces of granite, in this case black, white, green, and yellow, hand-carved individual pieces that are placed into hand-carved holes. They are set with a permanent epoxy. Then the entire monument is polished smooth and perfectly flat. We have not seen a similar monument in any cemetery or shop.
