Bellevue permits flat granite and bronze markers across all standard burial sections, set flush into the lawn. Standard flat markers require a 2-inch sanded edge with a beveled or LMP finish. Upright monuments are granite only and restricted to designated sections: Camelia Urn Garden, Los Robles, Redwood, Willow, and the Oak Upright areas. Pillow, slant, and full upright styles are available in those sections. Every marker must be delivered with a granite foundation extending 2 inches around the base on all sides, 3 inches thick. Side by side markers must be centered across two adjacent plots, and each plot is limited to one marker (with up to three interments recorded on that single stone).
The smallest flat marker at Bellevue, 3 inches thick with a 1-inch sanded edge. Cremation markers go in Memory Garden and Palm Urn Garden. Infant markers go in Heather and Section O (Ruby Red or Mahogany granite only in those areas) or other infant sections with no color restrictions.
A larger small marker, 3 inches thick, with a 1-inch sanded edge and beveled or LMP finish. Cremation markers go in Los Robles Cremation; infant markers go in Heritage Infant. Military markers in the Veteran Section use this same size but require Sierra White granite with an oak leaf design.
The standard single adult marker, 3 inches thick, permitted in all sections. Requires a 2-inch sanded edge with a beveled or LMP finish. Room for a name, dates, inscription, and artwork such as a portrait or scene.
A companion flat marker, 3 inches thick, for two adjacent plots. Must be centered across both spaces. Same edge requirements as the single: 2-inch sanded edge, beveled or LMP finish. Permitted in all sections.
A square marker, 4 inches thick, covering roughly half the grave space. Allowed in all sections except cremation spaces. Requires a 2-inch sanded edge with a beveled or LMP finish. Generous canvas for artwork and detailed inscriptions.
The largest flat marker, 4 inches thick, covering the full length of a grave space. Allowed in all sections except cremation spaces. Requires a 2-inch sanded edge with a beveled or LMP finish. Call us for pricing and availability.
The lowest profile upright style. Single: 24″W × 14″D × 8/6″ or 6/4″H. Side by side: 48″W × 14″D. Permitted only in Camelia Urn Garden, Los Robles, Redwood, Willow, and Oak Upright sections. Granite only; must include a granite foundation.
A mid height angled marker. Single: 29″W × 10″D × 16″ or 12″H. Side by side: 36″W × 10″D. Same designated upright sections as the pillow. Granite only; must include a granite foundation.
The tallest style at Bellevue. Single: 24″W × 8″D, 50″ total height (die + base). Side by side: 48″W × 8″D. Oak Uprights: 24″W × 8″D, 36″ die + 6″ base. Base must be 30″W × 14″D × 8″H (single) or 60″W × 14″D × 8″H (side by side) and no higher than 8 inches above the foundation. Granite only; designated upright sections only.
Bellevue allows our full palette of 18 granite colors for standard markers. Infant markers in Heather and Section O are limited to Ruby Red or Mahogany; military markers in the Veteran Section require Sierra White.

What we handle: Design, engraving, and delivery. We fill out the Memorial Marker Installation Authorization form, coordinate with Bellevue’s office, and arrange delivery with the required 48-hour notice. No deliveries after 3:00 PM or on weekends and holidays.
Who sets the marker: Bellevue’s grounds crew sets all markers; outside companies deliver but are not permitted to install on the grounds. The cemetery inspects each memorial on arrival.
Most flat markers are ready in 2–4 weeks when the granite size and color are in stock. Special orders may take longer; we’ll let you know up front. Once delivered to Bellevue, the cemetery typically sets the marker within five business days.
Bellevue charges a setting fee paid directly to the cemetery before they accept the marker. Flat markers of any size: $450. Upright monuments, slant markers, and benches: $650 (includes endowment care). These fees are separate from the cost of the memorial. The endowment care fund pays for the long term maintenance of the grounds.
Yes. Everything goes through our office. You approve the design proof, we take it from there: paperwork, section verification, delivery coordination. No separate calls to Bellevue on your end.
Yes. We add inscriptions to existing memorials on site at Bellevue Memorial Park. We bring our portable engraving equipment right to the gravesite, so there’s no need to disturb the memorial or coordinate a removal. Adding a second name, a death date, or a short inscription typically takes a couple of hours on site.
Our factory and showrooms in Chino are about 6 miles from Bellevue Memorial Park, a 17-minute drive south and west. Every memorial bound for Bellevue is designed and hand finished here in Chino, then delivered by our own team.

Bellevue Memorial Park is a 78-acre private memorial park established in 1892 to serve the families of the Inland Empire. Mrs. Oakley named the grounds after a street in her hometown of Ontario, Canada. Set on level ground shaded by more than 600 trees, the park is the resting place of over 62,500 people, with 15 named private roads, two mausoleums, and three chapels on site. In 2017 the park received the George Chaffey Memorial Award from the City of Ontario for preserving the community’s cultural heritage.
Families from across the Inland Empire are laid to rest at Bellevue, including Ontario, Upland, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga, and Chino.
