Mottaghi Gold Roses and Portraits Memorial MarkerWhite Marble

This white marble ledger covers the full grave and carries a long, hand-laid design in gold. Two portraits sit side by side at the head, under the Bahá’í invocation in gold script, with a nine-pointed star between the dates. Prayers run down the stone in English and Farsi, and a border of gold roses, a butterfly and a hummingbird wraps the foot, framing the closing line: in the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love.
