Natural Boulder with Pine Trees in Blue Pearl Granite
This monument for Robert Davis keeps the look of a real boulder, left rough and unpolished on one face the way it would be found in the wild.
A natural diagonal split opens onto a fully polished panel in Blue Pearl granite, where a stand of pine trees is carved beside his name. Polishing only that one face brings out the granite’s natural blue sparkle, a mineral flash that would otherwise stay hidden beneath the rough surface. Fitting the pine carving and lettering cleanly onto that cut face, without disturbing the boulder’s natural outline, takes real precision.
